It better be who I think it's about
I think my mind went too far in Wild Love because I thought since we were introduced to the wrestler through Cora, that it was going to be an age gap situation for her as an adult in this book. No idea on the math though lol
I thought the same thing because the first chapter (sneak peak) takes place after Tabby introduces Rhys as a father to the bowling team, so I thought that Rhys is sort of a father figure to Tabby’s nephew ? then they will get married so Tabby can become his guardian idk
@Beatrice oooohh yes totally possible! I'm really hoping that that's the case but that Rhys wasn't romantically involved with the sister *fingers crossed*
I'm hoping that Rhy is related to the nephew through the Father side. Maybe he died from overdose as well or something along those lines and wants to be in the boys life and then Tabby will lose custody unless they get married. Since in Wild Eyes she said her sister had some messed up things with the custody of the boy. I wont love if he is the actual dad...
@Jennifer yesss I'm hoping for the same too! It was mentioned that Rhys is a "father figure" to Milo so fingers crossed that it's because he has some sort of relation from the dad's side and wasn't actually *with* the sister
Y'all are driving yourselves crazy. When is this book going to be released? Hope soon for your sakes! 😆
@Paula no cause literally...I feel like I'm going mad just thinking about it💀 the book releases in march next year so it's a loooooonngggg wait😂

thank you hehe :) i have so many questions after reading the first chapter lmao
I'm glad nothing happened with her sister. But I have a question did he kiss the other woman he mentioned in the quote?

nope, as i mentioned, he doesn’t entertain her and doesn't kiss her either despite his boss pushing him to. but i just felt like i could have done without that text thread yk? he keeps saying that he doesn’t like the ow despite her trying to flirt with him and clearly tells her to stop pursuing him when he's not interested in her tho
Colleen wrote: "Why would he maybe have to kiss ow? Is he an actor or something? 🤔"
yes...sort of. so he's basically a wrestler who has to follow a script and act according to it - kind of like a dramatised version ig😅 idk how to explain it exactly since this is the first time i'm seeing a wrestler x actor mix lol
Wait… Rhys is inspired by Roman Reigns?! 👀 Now I have to read this! But also, what’s up with the sister drama—was there ever a chance of double dipping, or is it totally safe? and Is this one of those ‘I hate you but secretly I love you’ slow burns, or does it get messy fast?

He is and he’s absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! There’s no double dipping (even though I initially feared it) but as I mentioned, the sister was into the hero but he never reciprocated those feelings and considered her like his sister. This book starts out with hate to love, then becomes one sided (the heroine hates the hero) and finally they realise that they’re in love lol. I wouldn’t say it’s messy but the dislike/hate part goes on for a good portion of the book
