Megan (feral hearts club) There was only like 2 smex scenes and they were after the 75% mark.. and yeah a little cheesy. That was the part that bummed me the most. The rest I loved. I feel like maybe this could have been longer so the romance wasn’t so rushed? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes! I think I would have been more invested into Tavish and Ellis' romance if the book had been longer, or if it happened over 2 books (maybe introduce Ellis earlier in the series, or write a duology for them). The fact that they had sex after knowing each other for only a few days is not what bothered me, it's the fact that it was clearly not only physical. It meant more for both of them... Also, I find that Ellis was a little OTT during the smuttier moments, but maybe that's just me being picky. 😅
I still loved the book, but the romance was not the best...

Megan (feral hearts club) @Lucie yeah- like how the groundwork for Jeremy and Cassel was laid out in the previous book- maybe this would have benefited from something like that? Or yeah, 2 books even. But yeah- Ellis suddenly becoming more bossy (?? I guess ??) during the spicy scenes was a bit over the top haha. But I agree, loved the book! And I’m excited to see Ellis and Tavish in future books. Micah needs his book next! Him and Everly perhaps??? 🤔

Lucie V. Yes, there was some background missing for me to really get invested into their romance. I enjoyed it, but I was not rooting for them from the start like I was for Cassel and Jeremy.
I am intrigued by Micah too, I would like for him to have his book, as long as it allows us to learn more about his past too... He would fit well with Everly I guess. Honestly, I had completely forgotten about Everly. I had to go check into the previous books to figure out who he was. 😬😅

Pauline I agree with everything you said! The smut was fucking weird as hell (who was this person?! Certainly not Ellis), the background on Tavish was missing, and don’t get me started on the fence jokes. But it WAS so funny, so I had such a good time regardless? 😅
Awesome review! 💕

Exactly! It was not the best, it was not a masterpiece, but it was still very entertaining and the perfect light read to get your mind off things. 😊

Fairuz ᥫ᭡. Sounds like a wild ride with Ellis and the gang! Your review had me laughing and curious about all the craziness! 🤣📚

Lucie V. It was a wild ride for sure! If you read some of her books before you know the type of OTT characters she likes to bring to life. 😅

Yes, she just released the 7th book this autumn. It is a hilarious and amazing series. I highly recommend it next time you feel like reading MM romance with action and a lot of silly situations! 😊😊
