I am told that Unwind is amazing. Though I haven't read yet any of the author's work, your review seems that he's a pretty genius author. :)

plus when this book was finished it felt done. I'm glad he didn't make it into a series like every other book I know about
So true... I love stand-alone books. I mean, I love some series as well. But in general, they usually seem unnecessary.
As a writer myself, I hope that someday I can get a review like the beginning of yours. 😂 It’s funny and amazing and shows your true passion for the book and I really love that. ❣️
