Marilyn Great review, as always, of one of my favourite authors. I was proactive and I am No. 3 on hold of 5 copies when it is released.

Erin I cannot wait!

NZLisaM I need to start this series. How long have I been saying that? Brilliant review! 💙

Erin Lisa, you must! It’s my all time favorite series (expect the Betsy-Tacy books from childhood.). I think you will love it. I will warn you that the first book is one of the weakest in the whole series so please stick with it!

Debra Fantastic review, Paromjit!

Linda Excellent review, Paromjit. An absolute favorite series and I can't wait to get to this one.

Carolyn Walsh I have this on preorder, and can't wait to reunite with old friends in Three Pines!

Carol Scheherazade Sounds a bit more ominous than I’d like but always love her books. Great review

Karen Nice review Paromjit! 🙂

Carrie Thank you for this review! I loved her earlier books but now they’ve gotten way too dark for me. “Bleak” is a good word for it. Thanks for the warning!

MJ VanGompel Well said !

This is a dark, bleak, and intense read that focuses on pressing global issues, providing a social and political commentary, where the answers lie in the strength of community, belonging, acceptance of each other, love, friendship, and endeavouring to do better and progress.
