Great review, as always, of one of my favourite authors. I was proactive and I am No. 3 on hold of 5 copies when it is released.
Lisa, you must! It’s my all time favorite series (expect the Betsy-Tacy books from childhood.). I think you will love it. I will warn you that the first book is one of the weakest in the whole series so please stick with it!
Thank you for this review! I loved her earlier books but now they’ve gotten way too dark for me. “Bleak” is a good word for it. Thanks for the warning!
