Jon, I honestly appreciate your review! I am sure your feeling about this novel is correct. I am checking which Ann Patchett novels I would like to read next since I so loved ‘Bel Canto’ like you did. Have a nice Sunday, Jon!
It is indeed a major touchstone. Which initially lured me in, having played Stage Manager myself back in high school.
I started it once - DNF but went back and read it. Not my favorite Pathchett - loved Bel Canto, Commonwealth, Dutch House.
