It's on KU right now (As of 7/22)! I hope you enjoy it!
I really want to read this because I flipping LOVE the labyrinth and retellings. How scary is the horror? Lol. I can do dark romance, but I’m a baby when it comes to being scared.

That's tough to answer, but if you've read any of the others, I'd say it's closest to There's No Place Like Oz, where the horror aspects are mostly in the form of monsters and discovering an unfamiliar, violent world (similar to the Labyrinth movie in tone and atmosphere but more actual danger in the obstacles).
I do have a lot of humor and comic relief throughout to lighten it up, but it's for sure dark in spots, so I don't want to sugar coat. I'd say if you decide to give it a try and chapter 5 or chapter 7 aren't overly unsettling, then nothing in the next 40 chapters after that will be too crazy. I honestly think if you enjoyed the David Bowie version and don't mind a little blood, you'll be fine though, but I'm happy to explain either of those chapters in advance if you're okay with light spoilers
That said, here's the content warning list if that helps (I'm happy to expand on anything that needs more context!)
Content warnings include (May include spoilers): Dubious Consent, Violence, Blood, Gore, Primal (Marking, chasing, scenting, biting), Pain, Fear, Death, and Blood used in sexual context, Violent and Sexual use of nails, Choking, Drugging, Kidnapping, blood used in place of lube, references to cannibalism and dismemberment (not depicted)
If you were worried, no one EVER hurts the cat. There’s some fucked up shit in here, but animals are now, and always will be, safe and unharmed in my books.

I hope you enjoy it! But also, no worries if it ends up being too much! I'll be the first to admit that my darkness scale is a bit broken at times
