Onwards and upwards A!
With the real-life Orient Express, we can visualize the route outside the train. This connection does not exist in our world. I can see why you as a reader would want more outside info. A thoughtful and insightful review, A.
Uh oh... that sounds bad. Slow until 80% and then too fast means it hasn't been planned well. Terrific review, A.
Great review! I finished the audio a couple of days ago and agree that the narrators were fantastic. It's a shame the story didn't match.
A train with secrets of its own sounds intriguing to my ear. It's a shame that this story wasn't more emotionally engaging and fell short in some ways. I liked the premise though.
Great review, A!

I'm certainly interested to see what you think of it - I had high expectations going in, so maybe having lower expectations will help?

You hit the nail on the head - I think this work ended up being a bit too ambitious and fell flat because of it. Thank you, Srivalli!

I was honestly pretty sure I'd love this one based on the premise but it just didn't work for me. Thank you, Nika!
