Yep. the combo of being a scholar in Latin, Ancient Greek, and Ancient History, plus being a stand-up comedian is certainly uniquely qualifying here.

Will, in the YA genre, I enjoy Rick Riordan's books. Fun way to incorporate the Greek myths.

Although I have been aware of those books, I have never read them. Anything that encourages young readers to first, read, then to learn something of our culture, has to be a wonderful thing.

This is next on my list! A terrible fate to be assaulted AND forever be known as a villain. Retellings are my favourite genre these days.

There are many such on the market at present. Madeline Miller tends these fields as well. Definitely check out The Song of Achilles.
