Hit the nail on the head! I was so buzzing to read this book and I thought it got off to a good start but honestly wouldn’t recommend it. Can you recommend any personal finance books that are of actual value? Since nobody gets taught these useful life lessons at school
Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover is excellent, but 1) get it from the library so he doesn't make any more money. And 2) don't follow his life advice, he's also a crazy COVID denier. But great financial advice!

I'd strongly recommend Ramit Sethi's I Will Teach You to Be Rich.
