Thank you for the Book Club Guide! Such a great enhancement! Can't wait until my book arrives on June 4th!
Thanks for the Update! Loved listening to you discuss Shelterwood on Friends and Fiction. I found that discussion fascinating.
Wonderful book! All the things I like from historical fiction – compelling characters, interesting plot, and informative background information. The Audible narration is very good as well.
Just a thought... At the end of chapter 5, you talked about stopping for the catfish special with Charlie, the 6-year-old. A 6-year-old that likes catfish?? Interesting. And you are going to split the order. Next comes a mountain of catfish. And then two to-go boxes. Just made me think. All this extra stuff about the catfish does not add up. Maybe I am the only person that thought that was weird.
