It’s not a baddddd book…. But it’s just not an original book. It’s just a copy paste

MayKay I have this book on my TBR along with Red Queen. Now I'm having conflicting thoughts on if I want to read Powerless first or read Read Queen first to feel the disappointment you feel. Just reading what you quoted, "Your work is both original and good but the part that is original is not good, and the part that is good is not original." makes me curious!

Ohhhhh this is a tricky one. I say read red queen first. Then powerless. And try to go into both open minded maybe??? Tricky tricky for sure.

Danna Fernández GIRL , thank you for this review. Because honestly I started the book and after the first 2 chapters it was MORE than obvious than this is just straight red queen bad written trying to be different. Like please please please Lauren? Could you have an imagination and do something ACTUALLY different. For moment I believed I was reading the red queen again and that is an offense to the red queen actually, also the people who says “paedum is more than different from maree 😭😭” are totally blind. 💕

I had read Req Queen SOOOO long ago it took me a min, but when it clicked it clicked!!!!! Kid you not when I was at home I legit out loud said "OMG WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!" The second I figured it out

Briana I hate when that happens. I see that so often with YA

The more the years go on too the worse it gets. There's no issue with reading someones book and saying wow I just thought of something, and creating work from that spark... but idk if that is what happened here... its just too similar
