If the lack of effort to correct grammar, typos and punctuation by the authors and their editors a precursor for book 8, which is slated for a year from now *cringe*, it’s clear the authors have stopped caring.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m almost 70% thru and im here for the plot… and VERY invested… but the typos are starting to make my eye twitch.
Im leery on getting more invested into this series given it’ll take a year for the next book. I don’t know if have the patience for that kind of thing, let alone seeing what looks like authors not seeming to care either based on the end result being riddled with errors a spell check could have fixed.

Oh no!! That's too bad :( I hate loads of typos in books as well argh! I haven't had the time to start yet, but now I'm scared XD You're always welcome to rant here haha!
I remember telling you that I would let you kow if books 7 & 8 were worth it once I read them...
Well, book 7 was good. The plot progresses, and things are still interesting, but book 8 was way too long. There were too many POVs and useless scenes, and I felt like I wasted my time a little. The ideas are good, but the book could have been 400 pages shorter.
That being said, I do hope that you will enjoy both books if and when you read them!

I think what made it worse for book 8 is that I listened to it instead of reading it, so it felt even longer. Some fight scenes were over 40 minutes long, and the conversations felt unending at times. 😅
Book 7 or was it 8? Whatever the last one was the 1200 something page one kinda killed me. Still going to read the next one coming out - but yeah, that last one … ouch
