TarHeelReader Lovely review, Melissa. I agree with so much of how you described her writing, and I can’t wait for her newest as well.

Candi "They’re not the lush-literary I crave, but, to be honest, they’re written with more finesse than some current ‘literary’ fiction."

Well, now you have me thinking about this a lot, Melissa! I actually have a book of Picoult's on my to-read list but have been hesitant to pick it up. The topics she delves into seem very relevant, and if you found this one worthwhile, then I just might go for her one of these days :) Terrific review!

Canadian Jen Interesting review, Melissa. I did read some of those very reviews and then decided not to read this one. I do like Picoult - not all of them but some of them. Based on this, I think I may need to reconsider it! Great review.

The one I have marked to-read is Small Great Things. It was highly recommended to me by a library patron/friend, so I should read it one day and report back to her!

Cheri I loved this one, too, Melissa, and I was so surprised when I saw that she was co-writing this story with Jennifer Finney Boylan, who I only knew of through dog training / dog showing events. I am so happy to know that you enjoyed this as well!
