Crying in H Mart was incredible. It was such a beautiful story of grief and a mother-daughter relationship. Beautiful memoir!
I just picked up “Here After” by Amy Lin and I’m excited to read it. I’ve also heard good things about “What My Bones Know.”
Hi Chynna, We have written an Inspirational Mystic Thriller, Connections Past and book 2, Face of Duplicity a Psychological Thriller you my like. Enjoy the Journey!Chamberlainbooks.com
I thought Lessons in Chemistry was exceptional. Although it's fiction, it's a surprisingly accurate portrayal of the issues faced by women who chose to work in a man's field. Many of those same issues were still around when I faced them in the 1980s and 1990s.
Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. It’s kinda transcendent. I’m on my 2nd reread.
These days I don't read if I'm not going to be uplifted, period. Well, unless the writing is so enchanting, I'll make exceptions. That's why I want all you guys to know about my new and magical and real and tantalizingly weird novel, The Bridge Tender. What can I say? It'll blow your mind, but in a good good way. Ways all of us need to keep helping each other to be opened up to ... endless possibilities. I'm new to how groups work, so anyone who can help me figure out how to spread the word, please mentor me! Anyone care to review The Bridge Tender? I'm happy to GIFT you an audiobook. write me dearteza@gmail.com or i guess leave a note here ... if I can figure out how to get back here. In Light,
And keep SHINING!

Hi Chynna - I'm right there with you. My top criteria for books these days are positivity, gossip-worthy, a female protagonist, deep topics, and short. I recently wrote a blog with 5 recommendations based on those criteria. https://corinnecavanaugh.com/2024/03/... Maybe one of these scratches the itch?

does anyone have any suggestions for inspiring/uplifting memoir/nonfiction or even fiction books similar to Wild by Cheryl Strayed or Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton??
looking for something inspiring/uplifting/positive/meaningful
bonus points if it’s women empowering!
thx!
