Heidi Ennis I love Christian historical romance and would love to review your book if you will review mine. Win-win! :)

Set in my home state of Washington in the 1880's. Here is the little blurb:

Johanna Amalia Nilsdotter Oman, a young Swedish immigrant, has found herself all alone in America and has come too far to turn back now. Her only option is to make her way across the country and then the two hundred miles up the mighty Columbia River to the settlement of Lyle where her father purchased a homestead with dreams of owning his own sawmill.

John, a man stuck between two worlds, has a plan to walk away from life, to lose himself in the mountains of Washington Territory and never see a soul again. Shame and regret eat at his heart, and he cannot face the pain of his past. His only option? To die alone in those mountains.

But first, as a mountain guide, he’s been hired to lead an immigrant man named Nils Oman into the foothills above the Columbia River. The $20 promise of payment is his ticket out of this life.

But God had a different plan. A plan of redemption. A plan of healing, and a path to love again.

Let me know! Thanks family.

Hi Heidi,
I'd be interested, if you wouldn't mind that my book doesn't have that much romance in it. It's called The Hunger Countess and is based on a true story set in 17th century Germany. The lady in question happens to be King Charles' 9 times great-grandmother, a formidable woman quite ahead of her time with a deep trust in God.

Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Annette

Heidi Ennis Hi Annette, thank you for responding! Sounds good to me. Your book looks so interesting. I love that time period. Let's swap. You can email me hideennis@comcast.net or through my website www.atthefootofmountains.com and let me know how you'd prefer to read A Father's Dream. I will download your book from amazon now.

Thanks again friend.
Heidi xoxo

Annette Spratte Thanks, Heidi,
downloaded yours, too. I have some other reads to finish before I can get started, but look forward to it. Do you have European roots yourself?

Heidi Ennis Ok sounds great! Thank you! And yes much of my family emigrated from Sweden around 1900.

Have a wonderful day/evening my new friend.

Hello again!
Just a quick note to let you know I started the book and am in love with the characters. It'll be a while yet before I finish as I'm reading at a walking pace, but I'm enjoying it.
There's a stream I cross almost daily and usually I take time to stand there for a minute or two, listening to the water. Now I think of Mahkah when I do that. ;-)

Heidi Ennis Hi Annette, sorry for the late response. As much as I want to write and focus on that, life goes on. Doesn't it? I'm glad you're enjoying A Father's Dream. No worries on time. Thanks for letting me know. I loved the Hunger Countess. Did you see my review?
Heidi

Yes, thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. I'm afraid I can't post my review to amazon.com, as I purchased the book in Germany, but I do hope it shows anyway as review from another country. Are you on bookbub? I could post it there as well.
