Hahaha nahh man. The review is about 3k words, the book is 240k words long. But yeah, this is one of the longest reviews I ever wrote!

Thank you so much, friend! I hope you'll love this. I ramble on and on and on. If it weren't due to Goodreads characters limitation, I would've talked even more. xD

W. I'm really looking forward to this, now. Ever since you recommended The Green Bone Saga, and it became one of the best things I've ever read, I trust your opinions.

Filip A delightful and extensive examination of this novel, Petrik. I've never read James Islington though his books have long been on my TBR. With your heartfelt endorsement, I'll do my best to read this one on release!

Time to fix the situation, Filip! The Will of the Many is awesome! :D

Sabrina Shit, Petrik! To me, Patrick Rothfuss' books were 1-star reads, yet Pierce Brown's were 4 to 5 stars. What to do?! Which author do you think this is closest to? Is the main male character an extremely annoying I'm-a-nice-guy type?

Definitely closer to Pierce Brown than Rothfuss, imo. Imagine Red Rising in a fantasy setting and heavier focus on the Academy! :)

Bookaholic So jelly. Wish I could read it now too, but will def get it. Need to find out first if any special editions are planned! Very happy with my copies of Licanius from Broken Binding, as I loved those books too. I also really enjoyed the first Red Rising trilogy, so looking forward to this a lot!! 😍

I think there's a really good chance you'll love The Will of the Many, based on your comments! No idea whether The Broken Binding is planning a special edition for this or not, but I hope there will be! :)

Christina Pilkington Incredible review! This is hands down my favorite fantasy book of the year so far. Only Lightbringer could come close to knocking it down. I was glued to the page every single second I read it.

Abby Hey Petrik! About what age would you recommend this book to?

Alec Voin Reading it right now and I'm loving it so far (at around page 100), it is very reminiscent of Red Rising (one of my all time favorite series) but it completely feels like its own thing and the author has CLEARLY improved the 2 aspects that where not incredible in The Licanius Trilogy, his prose and character work. I love how you are a treasure trove of good books lol.

message 48: by Janhavi (new)

Janhavi Awesome! I'm so glad you liked it! I'm reading it right now and so far really enjoying it! It's almost as intriguing as Shadow of What Was Lost and can't wait to finish it!

Thank you so much, Alex. This one is certainly better than The Shadow of What was Lost, imo. And you'll see that even though it is inspired by Red Rising, it is certainly its own thing. You will feel it even more as you progress through the book. It's damn incredible! :)

Thank you so much, Janhavi! I hope you continue to enjoy The Will of the Many. Imo, it's Islington's best book, up there with The Light of All That Falls! :)
