Will there be a book or is it just kindle? Thank-you Sarah
In case you didn't know it already, your writing is freaking brilliant. Period. I honestly think you could write a dissertation on the best method to pave a road and it would still be absolutely riveting. 😁
It looks amazing, and I love the historical mystery combo most of the time so this is definitely a treat for me!
Will be purchasing the second it comes out. The way your characters interact and your plot progression and your .... just everything about how you write scratches and soothes a part of my brain that makes reading your work addicting.
Ooh, I'm deeply excited for this (with a hint of sad at the lack of romance) but any new KJ Charles book is a good new book!
Just finished it and i cannot be happier about the ending. So wholesome and lovely 🥹❤️ i genuinely loved it from start to finish. Thank you for this book😭❤️
For your first detective novel, I thought it was wonderfully and carefully crafted. I really enjoyed the mystery and the shared heartbreak endured by these friends.
It’s SO SO GOOD. I loved these characters so much, I would happily buy future tales of their adventures—or just cozy romances!
I read it when it came out (more or less) & loved it. Just re-read it and REALLY love it. More of these guys, or more mysteries like this--either way, I would really love MORE.
I just finished the talking book version and did not want it to finish. It was the most enjoyable book l’ve read or listened to for quite some time. With echos of Brideshead Revisited, l felt it authentically captured the language, attitudes and social climate of the time with great insight and integrity for historical accuracy, often lacking in the historically set novels l’ve read more recently.
I loved the cast of characters, especially Jem who seemed to be the most misplaced within this set of friends but was the redeeming character addressing and resolving their shared pain, shame and tragedy. A truly wonderful story!
It is an *excellent* murder mystery and as a person who enjoys mysteries over romance, I sincerely hope you write more of these!
I am not finished with this book yet, but at 62% love it and legit can’t put it down. I read a lot of 19th century literature so this was pretty close to right up my alley.
Right now, unless you massively flub the ending, you will be getting 4.5 to 5 stars from me. Very exciting book and I find these characters well written and interesting.
