Kelly You basically posted the whole book. This should NOT be allowed.

Lol. That is why I very clearly stated SEVERAL times to only scroll down if you want to read a recap review with spoilers.

That said, I added a few more warnings and an even longer distance to scroll down in case anyone else is confused by these instructions. I also added the spoiler HTML tags in case anyone can't control their urge to scroll and gets all the way to the bottom. ay yay yay

Ariel Tuladhar I love this review omg thank you so much. I don’t get how the ending makes sense

message 4: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Ummm, your review is my favorite thing I read in December. It’s only December 4th but I’m calling it now.

Fireplace.Bookworm I couldn’t even read the whole spoiler section because I was annoyed 😂

Kelly I understand you put spoiler warnings, but this book isn't even released yet and you've given EVERYTHING away. Some spoilers fair enough, but this should not be allowed on ARC reviews. It's wrong on so many levels.

omfg. SO DON'T SCROLL DOWN OR CLICK THE SPOILER TAGS if you don't want to read my ridiculous recap/review of this ridiculous book. It should probably also not be allowed to artificially inflate book ratings by giving them five stars before they've even been read, but that seems to be pretty standard practice for some authors and their fans, so...

I got an advanced reader copy from the publisher through NetGalley. Hopefully you'll get to read it right when it comes out -- and I hope you love it a lot more than I did!

Gary Parkes Loved your review! Spot on!

message 21: by Krista (new)

Krista crone OMG I love this review! I finally finished the audio and while it was the popcorn thriller of popcorn thrillers, it was all gross 🤮 I had to listen to the epilogue several times just for my mind to wrap around what went down.

message 22: by Diane (new)

Diane Wilkes Thank you--I don't have to read the book, because your summary was completely satisfying.

message 23: by Liz (new)

Liz This is the best review I’ve ever read. I laughed out loud: thank you.

message 24: by Rita (new)

Rita I just became your number one fan. I'd rather read your review than give the book a go.

Jeanie ~ Fables.and.fur I liked this one better than you did, but I loved your review! Lol!

message 26: by tina (new)

tina The entire part about Hudson at the end is exactly how I feel

message 27: by Breanna (new)

Breanna Your review was better than the book. I feel much better now, lol. Thank you!

message 28: by Matt (new)

Matt This review was 🔥. Couldn’t stop laughing.

message 29: by KylieAtkinson (new)

KylieAtkinson I want to know how Eve didn't know Jay (Hudson,) was a high school student, AT HER SCHOOL. He's the quarterback FFS. How is he 16 yet she thinks he's married with a baby. Did he know she was a teacher? Or her husband was a teacher? AT HIS SCHOOL. Did he not put two and two together when he picked them both up from the same location on the same night? I love a good twist but that was beyond belief.

message 30: by Sonia (new)

Dawn Feest This was epic! I agree with all the other comments😅 and I too would prefer your reviews!

message 37: by Ashley (new)

Ashley thank you for saving me from reading this book

message 38: by Jayne (new)

Jayne I have this book on my phone and after reading your amazing review, I am sending it right back to Libby. Sexual predator teachers really bother me and, therefore, this was not the book for me, even though it was written by Freida! Thanks for saving me my time. I hope your next book is a winner!

message 39: by Erica (new)

Erica Marie Love this review! Thank you! I always want spoilers and you delivered!

message 40: by Virginia (new)

Virginia Best review of the worst book! Love it! Thank you!

message 41: by Al (new)

Al I know the designer brand weren’t capitalized in the book but I like to think they were

message 42: by Jordan (new)

Jordan Billingsley I liked this book decently enough until the epilogue. I had all the same questions you did. At first I thought maybe Eve didn’t know he was a student? But then I was like, nah, highly unlikely. And also Eve always refers to what is apparently Hudson’s MOM as “her” and never his wife/partner/whatever. And she explicitly states that she knows they can’t ever be together. Why was she so mad at SP Nate when she was doing THE SAME THING. And like you said, WHY IS HUDSON FRIENDS WITH ADDIE NOW? Freida should’ve ended it and left out the epilogue.

And the shoes were frickin annoying. We get it, she had an obsession. Good grief.

message 43: by Lisa (new)

Lisa You should be doing the writing 🤣🤣🤣that’s the best thing I have read in a long time!

message 44: by Kiarra (new)

Kiarra Dude thank you so much for saving me from reading this. I usually love her books but I was just not vibing with this book for some reason and. I stopped after the scene where Addie gets caught cheating and Nate persuades Eve not to do anything and I was like ugh this is annoying lmao

So thank you for saving me with this summary. I can tell I wasn’t going to like this route. I tend to read dark books but this just seems kinda all over the place. Hopefully the next book by this author will be for me again.

message 45: by Dee (new)

Dee I love this review so much 😂
Accurate, how did J manage to drive back and forth twice in the matter of two hours? So J and Addie both besties are involved with teachers. I don’t know how to feel about this anymore! And yes, Eve had an obsession with shoes but how are we not talking about the fact that she married her predator and shared a home with him, until she kills him?

message 46: by Whitney (new)

Whitney A You are amazing🤣 Thank you for saving us from this book!

message 47: by Cristin (new)

Cristin I love your summary. I had the same questions as you and KylieAtkinson. The Jay/Hudson twist was interesting but made NO sense.

message 48: by Austine (new)

Austine The Jay twist is KILLING ME! Eve HAD to have known he was a teenager because he was literally a student at her school. I finished the book 5 minutes ago and I am going crazy. So many thoughts!!

message 49: by Larcey (new)

Larcey The Jay twist annoyed me soooo much lol…I came straight to goodreads and your review did not disappoint - I literally laughed out loud while reading it.

message 50: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Reed Ok I never put two and two together that Jay and Hudson were the same people. Didn’t Jay get phone calls from his wife and there was a baby crying in the background?!
