I don't reply to reviews on my books, especially 1-star reviews. I fully respect a reader's experience and opinion.
But there are some heavy statements made against me in this post I feel would benefit from some clarity.
1) I didn't want to change my book title names. But I was informed by Amazon that, while the Æ letter is supported in their publishing system, it's not searchable on their site. Readers couldn't find my book Æroreh as a result (the book before Eirwen). Barnes and Noble didn't support the Æ letter whatsoever. Therefore, it was advised I change the titles.
2) Amazon Terms of Service require that I put "Previously published as Æroreh" / "Previously published as Eirwen" at the very top of my product page blurb to publish a retitled series. If you go to Amazon, you'll see that it's there. Zero trickery involved. All upfront disclosure.
3) I spent months talking about the title changes on social media leading up to the rebranding. Once more, no trickery involved. All upfront disclosure.
I give thousands of books away for free every year because I want anyone, regardless of income, to have access to books they want to read without resorting to pirating.
Anyway . . . I'm glad you enjoyed Eirwen though :-) I really loved writing that story. Those characters were very close to me.
