Ha! I was going to read this, but maybe not.
Thanks for this. I've been on the fence about this one for some time, and evidently my skepticism was correct. Pass for me.
The parts about the woman and the octopus seemed great. It's just that literally half the book is about the whiny man who isn't even mentioned in the blurb, possibly because the marketing team correctly felt that it's not exactly a selling point.
