Ha! I was going to read this, but maybe not.
Thanks for this. I've been on the fence about this one for some time, and evidently my skepticism was correct. Pass for me.
The parts about the woman and the octopus seemed great. It's just that literally half the book is about the whiny man who isn't even mentioned in the blurb, possibly because the marketing team correctly felt that it's not exactly a selling point.
Sorry you had to go through this. Lucky escape. Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
I finished this recently and could not agree more with you. Were it not for Cameron I would have enjoyed this book so much!
