Yes there are a few explicit scenes, but nothing over the top. :)
I really need to reread this! I read it a long time ago before I really liked romance, so I think I’ll like it a lot more the second time around 😅
Oh I hope you will enjoy it! I really like Desmond and the romance is sweet (and there is a lot of smit in the next books too 😅)
Since you’ve read this book recently I’m hoping you can answer my question and save me a HUGE headache. I’m trying to remember what the book is called and it’s a toss up between this and like 2 others, but basically at the end the MC is captured and put in a cage and their I guess tortured but they definitely dread the “evil bad guy” coming. And they escape at the end. They’re in some kind of underground place I think and they have a “partner in crime” that is looking for them.
Was that The Bargainer??? Or I’m wondering if it was from the Fever series. I genuinely can’t remember and it’s driving me nuts lol!

Actually I read this one many years ago. 😅
But I don't think what you're describing is The Bargainer series. I don't remember the MC being emprisoned and tortured. I didn't read the Fever series, so I can't say if that this it or no.. I am so sorry I can't be more helpful... The plot you're describing doesn't ring a bell, but if you ever find out the title of the book, I'd be interested to know! It sounds interesting!!
