Yeah, I'm getting love triangle/why choose vibes & it's really pissing me off because it's not stated anywhere if it is. I had assumed it'd be just w/one couple only to be intro'd. /zahkar sniffing about well after it would have been established she would have been just w/drager. I hate love triangles more than I hate why choose. There are some bks I can handle the why choose trop, but not the love triangles. Either way, it should have definitely been identified. It's such a good story, but hobeslty w/it not being identified & being this unsure who she'll end up w/will really ruin it for me.

I assumed the same thing! And, it might still be. I just couldn't tell, it left everything in that area up in the air at the end of this book. I honestly don't care for either of those tropes. Love triangles ALWAYS end with one person heartbroken and why choose just seems to go against the idea of "romance" for me.
I feel like it’ll be a twin mate kind of thing- it mentions they shared the same birth and lots of shifter mate stories have twins who share the same mate. 🤔 I wonder if that’s where it’s going

Now there's an idea I hadn't thought of! Not sure if I like it, though. I tend to be a one man kinda gal and, as titillating as a twin thing could be, I can never see it ending well in the long run, so I can't buy into it like I can if it is that "one true love" kinda thing. ;) I can totally see Ms. Eve going that way, though.
