Great review! I was on the fence. I think I'll pass. :)

Thank you LT. I can see why you would want to pass. There are many mixed reviews on this one. I really tried on this one. But, when I have to try so hard...not a good sign. :)
I laughed out loud when I read that it doesn't look good for the reader either! Oh I assumed there would be a reason for this special power, how odd not to include it. It's on my TBR, I did like groundhog day, you do have good points, I do know what it is to see blurry, not my fave experience. Too bad it wasn't entertaining enough to suspend belief. Maybe I'll read it.
Interesting. I follow another reader who really loved it. Sounds like it's a book people have strong opinions about. I do love a time travel story, so I will likely try it at some point. If I see a 7-day hold copy at my library, this is exactly the kind of book I'll pick up on impulse.

I am happy I got you to laugh...and I do look forward to hearing what you think Jsiva after you read it. :)

I know, it is that kind of a book. Mixed reviews. Each person is going to feel whatever they are going to feel about the same book. And whatever mood we are in at whatever given time we choose to read it! I look forward to hearing what you think if you do read it, E.M. :)
Oh dear! I have been wanting to like this book ever since I saw that cover and the blurb! How sad that it doesn't deliver on its potential. Thanks for the fair warning, Karen!

I know. I really, really, really, wanted to like it, too. But, you know Rosh, there are mixed reviews out there. Check out a few more before you give up on it. :)

I’ve only enjoyed a couple of Reese’s picks😅"
Thank you Karen. I don't necessarily pick a book because of her, right?!!!! I think it just happens that a book finds me. Like this one...and not always a good outcome! Oh well! 😳
You summed up what my experience was perfectly. As a fan of high fantasy, this was rather dull. I admit, towards the end it became more interesting with the relationships picking up but I genuinely think it's because I enjoyed other characters much more than I did Cassandra.
Omg you have written everything I was thinking. Everything you say hits all the major points on why this book is unlikable
Didn’t she hit her head or had someone hit it? If so maybe that when things changed. No idea but I love your review. Great summary of why this book is so awful to read
By the end, I feel like the explanation was maybe that she imagined all of the time travel stuff, took stock of her life and choices, and decided to live life differently than she had previously imagined.
