So does the girlfriend in this book kill herself too?
let's just say her use of poison is not so self-directed.
also, she knows when to cut & run. no squalid death in a bunker for this fraulein
This is quite possibly the best review I've ever read. I couldn't get through this one personally, I just don't care enough about Snow, but as always I admire the hell out of your way with words.
thanks folks! the phrase is one I've used a lot over the years when castigating family members, after they suddenly develop soft spots for villains just because it turns out the villain has a girlfriend, kids, or a mom that he loves. that is such a weakness and I will never let it slide lol. they need to stop giving characters like Walter White their respect & affection!
it is also the title of a song by Mr. T Experience, but the meaning is very different there i.e. "even Hitler had a girlfriend, why can't I?"
