Lisa It was said in the first book that he is bisexual, why not take the opportunity and write about a queer couple. Literally every romance book series only has straight couples. You don’t have to read it, but writing an unnecessary review showing how ignorant and homophobic you are, is just ridiculous. #loveislove #treatbookswithkindness

Chimm Whether you read it or skip it it's up to you but please stop using gay as an insult.

message 3: by sofía (new)

sofía With the straight books you are reading, are you sure that you aren't already reading dog x human girl? ☹️

message 4: by Vik (new)

Vik For someone who has limited reading and (even more interesting) favors taboo (yes, I have looked at your profile), it's difficult how you can be such a great mind-reader to know this will be a 1 star book. Especially since you've read Rina Kents books before. Therefore, would know the sexual orientation of these characters has been mentioned before. I'm interested in learning your talent, as it will certainly help my ability to not get my hopes up for new releases (or even old ones!).
I'd also be interested in learning how you determine there is a dog hero? Do they adopt a dog from the charity that Mia works in? Does it protect Brandon from Niko or maybe it's Brandon that's the dominant (I'll admit, this is a wish of mine!). Alas, I don't have your talent to see into the future! If you, however, do not have the gift to look into the future, please let me know how you rate books based on synopsis? Again, it's a talent I haven't been able to achieve. I always base it on actually reading a book. I know, old school, sorry. So, teach me your ways, oh wise one.
In the meantime, I'll eagerly wait for your feedback on this and other titles.

L C This is so ignorant it hurts. I would be embarrassed if I was you.

message 6: by Rhiannon (new)

Rhiannon Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, unless they’re homophobic. Being LGBTQ isn’t the reason for a 1star review.

message 7: by Cripio (new)

Cripio Then don't read it. Nobody cares what you do.

Devin The Book Dragon Why we rating books one star without even reading them?

message 9: by Eva (new)

Eva Whyd you even rate it if you didn't read it??? This is why I don't rely on ratings on ANYTHING anymore.

message 10: by rayhanah (new)

rayhanah this is so ignorant its sad. If you've read any of rina kent's books you'd know characters' sexuality has ALWAYS been mentioned before, this isn't some magic trick she pulled out of a hat at the last second. And rating the book 1 star before you even read it?? maybe read it before you form a (homophobic) opinion, love. And also, nobody's holding you at gunpoint to read the book. If it's not for you, why rate it in the first place? bffr.

message 11: by Vivi (new)

Vivi @rayhanah, First things first my girl, you said it! Thank you!
And all the others too, thank you and now to you, you whatever you are. I don’t give a fuck.
You clearly haven’t read any books before this one and I did read everyone, so let me tell you. Nik‘s sexuality was mentioned several times and even though it would not have been. Then why the fuck is that a bad thing? Go to hell with your homophobic opinion because no one and especially not a great author like Rina deserves this. People who from the LGBTQ+ community do not deserve this. So I think I speak for everyone who literally says LOVE IS FKN LOVE. Please keep your opinion to yourself, you don’t want to read it? Fine. Then don’t but don’t go around and do this shitty thing. Rina works hard for her books and she portrays specific topics/trauma exactly the right way and you come along and have the audacity to rate this book 1 star without reading it? Girl. Please for the love of god, think before you do stuff.

Dozens of people gave five stars months before reading it, and it didn't bother you, but my one star bothered you, double standards 🙄🤗This is the sad thing🥲

Unfortunately, there is a person who speaks with the confidence of a scholar and he does not have the knowledge of a young child who began to stammer with his first words.🥲 Did you enter my profile and determine my personality and favorites And you didn't get to understand yourself first ?! Hahaha ,Firstly, I have read more books than the number of hairs on my head (although I have thick hair and am not bald). I love reading paper books, and my reviews are in blogs. There is not only this site in the world (good morning😅). As for electronic books, I rarely read them, even though this fact is self-evident and the stupid/est human being can guess this. Possibility, but unfortunately a scientist like you did not find it. Secondly, intellectual, if you read a little about the development of homosexuality over the centuries, you will understand my meaning and know that my words about (dog, human) are logical. Thirdly, talking to people like you makes me feel terribly proud because I am convinced thatI am a person who understands what he says and knows the directions of his thoughts, (even if they do not satisfy some people, which I do not care about, of course) ,unlike you who do not even understand what you are saying. Just tell me, were you not the one who said love is love?! Aren't you the one who agrees with all forms of relationships under the slogan of love is love?! Isn’t the most important principle of this twisted law that anyone can love whoever he wants, whether human, robot, animal....?! So, why did he talk about humans and animals become provocative for you? My advice to you is to sit with yourself and understand what you are and what you encourage. Understand yourself first and then try to understand me. As for the rating that bothered you, I voted with one star because I decided to vote with one star.🤷🏼‍♀️ And if you really want to know how this happens, how about asking those who gave five stars months before reading it? Maybe they will help you more than me 😂😂 but wait, you can't, because you simply have double standards hahaha

nah, it doesn’t suck necessarily to not like fully support the lgbtq community because love is not necessarily love, I mean if you are gay or whatever and come out as that and marry someone of the same sex, I guess you do, but like at the same time, but in the Bible it talks about how it’s a sin to sleep with an animal, which doesn’t fully go with being gay or whatever, but basically when y’all are sayin how “love is love” your basically saying that you like support if like someone oh I don’t know was weird with a pet, if that makes sense. or if someone was married to a man and is a man. and it’s honestly mean to like say or call someone mean names to those who may not fully like agree with the whole “love is love and I can marry or sleep with whoever I want” because like I’m gonna like be nice to those who are part of the lgbtq community since I know many high school students who are apart of that community, but like God didn’t create us human beings to marry someone of the same gender, and I’m not like trying to come off mean about it, but God created us people, since after the water, land, animals, plants, day and night were created first, The Lord then created man in His own image, Adam and Eve. and then God wanted them (Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, so that generation after generation would ve created!! plus also, when you are like a man and marry a man or if your a woman and then marry a woman, YOU CANNOT REPRODUCE AND HAVE KIDS!! so, God didn’t create us all to basically distort His creation of us and what gender we were created into (male or female), but I am not saying that being trans or gender fluid or gay and whatever else there is in the lgbtq community is like “oh, we need to get rid of all the lgbtq people in the whole world” kind of person, but it’s honestly not the best thing to be honest. because the God wasn’t the one that said “oh, since I created you and knit you into your mothers womb as a guy, but you want to be a woman, oh, ok, yea that’s totally fine!” but with me putting that in quotation marks is not what He(God) said, but He did knit us all in our mother’s womb and he knows each and every hair on our heads. God of course still loves those in the LGBTQ community, and He desires a personal relationship and intimate love with everyone since God is love, and you can be around those in your family and friend groups who love you, but the Lord created you! He loves you absolutely more than you could ever imagine!! and honestly, why is putting or writing about gay or lesbian relationships in books the best books to read ever? like I’m not a supporter of this stuff, and honestly a ton of others also don’t fully support and agree either on that community.
