Ok, I will give Bodies a second chance. Not a fan of zombies but this seemed to be going in another direction. The concept was intriguing anyway. I am more of a Stephen King / Carrie Vaughn smart story line kind of fan. Modern sensibilities sounds good.

Always interested in your new fiction. Keep up the struggle! Glad progress is being made. Your unique voice is a treasure.

Oh yes, "Bodies" isn't at all about zombies. It's about time travel and dystopias, and it's really the personal stories of the four detectives that ties the whole thing together. It's a bit grim but not grimdark, if that makes sense. I really enjoyed it.
