😂 first book recap (in the least spoilery way I possibly can lollll): UCMH's hockey rink got trashed because Russ got involved with a girl from a rival school trying to make her bf jealous and the guy retaliated (long story short). Hockey and other ice teams then had to share the one remaining rink, leading to Icebreaker games (hello title line) so everyone can get along and play nice when it comes to scheduling the one available rink. Anastasia's (Stassie for short) ice partner and roommate is a narcissist tho and tries to control her life (successfully controlling her eating habits). He gets jealous by Stassie befriending the hockey guys, especially Nate, the hockey team captain. His arm is broken and he blames Nate, so Nate gets kicked off the hockey team until the arm is healed. But Stassie still needs to train because she's trying to be an Olympian, so Nate becomes her temporary ice skating partner. A lot of sexy time shenanigans happen during all of this, as well as Nate noticing her disordered eating and anxiety and that plays a role in some of the plot with the shitty roommate, because those two are totally in love. 😂👏 and that's what you missed on Glee!
