I cannot believe the rave reviews for this. Apparently people enjoy statutory rape and pedophilia.
I was shocked. I found out about this book from a popular group on Facebook. I’ve read the author before and it was strictly taboo with adults so I thought I’d be fine.
They just completely ignore that this is about children *shutter*
And the story would have worked just fine if they had started the sex right after they turned 18. It would still be highly taboo without the pedophilia. I don’t get it.
If it was men raving about this we would call them out. Yet since it’s women reading it then it’s fine. WTF?
I learned about the book through TikTok in to avoid the book so I went to see it on here reading the reviews because seriously the author couldn’t make them 18 plus some? Like you said it would still have the taboo factor without being pedoish
you're one of the few normal people in this comment section. i came here from tik tok to see a bunch of weirdos praising this book. it's so disgusting that they can enjoy a book about statutory rape but we're in the wrong for "policing what they read"....
This book is plain disgusting! Thank you for your review. Its disturbing that all these people are condoning paedophilia and incestous behavior. I feel dirty just reading these reviews!
I read the book recently and it doesn't contain children having sex at all. Two 15-year olds kiss - at age 15 I think that's fairly normal. They don't don't touch each other again until they are 17. 17 is over the age of consent in my country and most people have sex by the time they are 18.
While I understand that you don't like the content of this book, I think it is wrong to claim it is "erotica about pedophilia",
In my country, the only act in the book that would be illegal is the twincest. But it is a work of fiction. Vampires are murders, I don't approve of murder in real life either, but i read vampire books.
Hey HJ not a single person cares that YOUR country allows pedophilia. It’s disgusting and should be in the trigger warnings. Anyone under 18 is a CHILD. Enjoy being a predator I guess.
Why oh why would you continue to read it….you put it in your head it was about kids and not young adults
This isn’t pedophilia…they weren’t little kids! They were young experimenting adults!
Wikipedia: Pedophilia is used for individuals with a primary or exclusive sexual interest in prepubescent children aged 13 or younger.
“Let readers enjoy a story” no one said you couldn’t. Get off my review then. Enjoy fantasizing about fucking children 🥴
@Kanan I don’t care. I wrote the review for my country. Where they are children. Don’t like my review then stopped reading it. Weirdo.
….not ppl in your comment justifying and depending pedo. That’s predatorial behavior at best. Furthermore, it’s YOUR review. I can’t imagine feeling so strongly about defending pedo that I go comment on someone else’s page/review to do so. It truly makes me cringe.
Someone just recommended this book in one of the FB groups that I'm in and hence why I was thinking of adding it to my tbr (and because I read For The Fans by this same author and actually enjoyed it). But pedophilia is a big NO. Like, are we really romanticising child predators? URGH EW.
So over 50% of the US (31 states) the age of consent is 16. That’s your country right? Hope this helps 👍🏻
That’s not how those laws work actually. Also, you could just say you’re predator. You don’t have to hide behind things.
It's not child porn. It was 6 days before their 18th bdau. How old where you when you lost your virginity or just made out for the 1st time?
A fifteen year old is not a child, they are an adolescent.
How do so many people get this wrong?
And pedophilia is an adult or older adolescent being attracted to prepubescent children so, since the twins are not prepubescent, it is not pedophilia.
Another thing so many people get wrong.
Folk need to stop getting their information from social media, it just makes them look uneducated.
