Great review, I agree with so much of what you’ve written here.
I tend to agree with your review - as I also gave it 3 ⭐️. I wondered where the “funny” parts were, as mentioned on the cover of the book.
This review perfectly explains how I felt about this book. Resolving the ending with a love story and final happiness being equated to not her own growth but by being validated outwards, again, just didn’t feel like the right completion.
