it’s so difficult to say what you really think about someone’s book when you knew them before lmao, I recently read one, and I don’t know how to tell them I didn’t like it like that much😭

Omg, right?? I was literally so nervous lol. I felt so bad, how do you tell someone that you'd love to read their books, but they write literally the only genre that you don't read?😂😭 I still gave it a shot though and I felt like I was fairly gracious, so 🤷
I appreciate your honesty, and I'm not remotely offended that you didn't like it. Thanks for trying to read outside your comfort zone!
