I literally love you for this
this is the best review I have ever read and I completely agree with all of this 💖✨️ this book is genuinely dog shit 😛❤️
Oh my God! Am dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was more fun than reading the book
"Why the fuck did Yarrows decide that when the dragons . .."
Because she literally took that from the DragonRiders of Pern
This was so funny. Violet being oh-so-tiny was totally unnecessary, as if being disabled comes with being petite? And making a point of Xaden being at least 6’4? Who caaares. I did think the graying hair was somehow a reference to her disability/maybe having had meningitis, not sure.
I don’t care if you didn’t like this book but calling the disabled mc pathetic and putting her down for talking about her chronic pain is ablelist
You’re to dislike something. However. You’re comment on her chronic illness reads as horribly ableist. You really missed the entire point.
"Also why the fuck did Yarrows decide that when the dragons fuck that their riders also get really horny?" HUH????????????? NO WAY
Also y’all know the author has EDS, right? like… she has the same disease as Violet. She’s not using it to make money. It’s an *incredibly* rare disease, that would be an insane strategy.
This is the funniest review I have ever read. I can't believe people are trying to point you are ableist. Violet's chronic illness was poorly written and how exactly are you ableist for pointing that out? You're not. People need to stop being ridiculous.

tbf, her having the same illness doesn´t mean her portrayal of it can´t be horrendous. I just read a book of a lesbian author who executed the bury your gays trope within five pages of introducing the sapphic character. Experience doesn´t prevent you from internalized bigotry.
:D That is the best review I´ve ever read. Thanks for it. Not gonna read it. I totaly hat, how Fantasy/YA/Romance/whatever-those-kind-of-everywhere-poppin-up novels nowadays always have the damn same scheme. Reading the covers, it all sounds great, than you step into that world only to be waved at by the same old, same old Characters, plot lines, steaming hot guys, weak but special girls... When did that happen, like - has no author of YA Fantasy-romance has any ideas left. Sure, EVERYTHING has been written and it is hard to reinvent the wheel but...
Pro tip for everyone who is longing for a REAL Enemies to Lovers Plot - back to the one and only Fanfic Classic "Isolation" by Bex-Chan. Totaly free, totaly worth it AND totaly something new (although the characters obviously aren´t hers, she made them).
Thank you @ageless - saved me some hard time!
My husband and I are having breakfast at our campground and we are literally cracking up at your review. I'm about 100 pages in and my husband has read about half - we can't finish it, it's that bad. Spot on review!
No why is this so freaking accurate I feel bamboozled and betrayed and as though hours of my life has been wasted
This review is giving me life but I’m still going to read the book and more than likely love it because I’m a sappy, hopeless romantic. I thrive on this tho. The abounding sarcasm is 🤌🏼👏🏼👏🏼
