Great review! I appreciate learning of these books set in Bar Harbor, ME, as it's where I summered as a child!!! I am not a foodie, but funnily have read three books in as many months centered around it: The Last Days of Café Leila, Love & Saffron, and Lessons in Chemistry. All women's fic. You can bet I'll be checking out this and the other mystery series, to live vicariously through the characters just as you do. Thank you!!
Hello friend!!!! Yes, I have found a few in Maine. Glad to
Share. Definitely interesting vibes in the starting books, tho. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea! Thx for your recommendations too.
Fun story, but being a Maine girl, I can’t get past the way the narrator pronounces Bangor! It’s Bang-ore, not Bang-er!!!
