Wonderful review, Rosh. Too bad this wasn't your cup of tea. ☕
Ah, this one sounds a little frustrating overall. Between the flat secondary characters and the change in tone during the second half, I think I'll pass on it. Great review, Rosh!
Thank you for taking one for the team (me). I need reviews from my reliable friends to keep me on course, i.e. not reading romance lmfao
Sorry that this didn't reach the heights of being a superb reading experience but I'm glad it wasn't a total loss :) xxx
Ah I was wondering why the plot felt familiar. I read reviews for the other title.
Those spoilers... really? geesh!
Superb review, Rosh. :)
I liked the premise of the story Rosh - comes as a cosy, light read. Sad the follow-through was average. Excellent review.
It sounds like the author didn't put much thought into what a pregnant person would experience in those situations 😐
Off for another one better, Rosh! Nice review ✍
I loved this book but am sorry it didn't work for you. Your review brilliantly explains why, Rosh and is very fair and honest! I hope your next read is a winner! 🥰💕
Excellent review, Rosh! The pregnancy bits would probably make my eyes roll lol. I don’t think this one is for me.

Thanks, Darla! I still regret how it went. I did like it but wanted more, as always. :)

Ah, lucky escape, Heather. I think it might work better if read. Thanks.

Haha, I understand, Baba. I too was sold by the title and cover. :)

Thanks, A! Well, a majority did like it, so if you don't overanalyse it, you might still have a chance. :)

Haha, my pleasure, Chantel. ;) I still don't know why I pick these up because they never go the way I hope. :D

Superb review, Rosh. :)"
Thanks, Sri. I grabbed it thinking it was a new book. :D
Those spoilers truly irked me. Especially the first one. Such a silly portrayal! "bouncing"!!?? "Waddling" is more accurate.
Kaceey wrote: "Excellent review Rosh! Wish it would have worked out better for you! Love the cover!🤩💖"
Thanks, Kaceey! I wish it did too. :( The cover is smart!

Ditto, Perse. Until then, I was still at a higher rating. :(
Bharath wrote: "I liked the premise of the story Rosh - comes as a cosy, light read. Sad the follow-through was average. Excellent review."
It was cosy and light, Bharath. But I don't like it when light reads turn everything into a light and predictable matter. They need to push the envelope somewhere. :/

Seems like that, Feli. Not that every pregnant woman experiences the same thing, but the points in the book are just too exaggerated.
Fingers crossed for a better one!

I agree, this one needs some suspension of disbelief, but I thought it was a sweet story. Great review!

Thanks, Melissa! It was really sweet but the suspension of disbelief in the second half became too much for me. Glad you liked it better. :)

Oh, yeah! Haven't been there yet but I've seen enough women to know what's possible and what isn't.

Very true, Federico! Such books are nice for breaks. :)
Wonderful review, Rosh! I didn't love my first try with this author, but I'm a little more curious about this one. I'm glad you found things you enjoyed, even if it wasn't quite what you hoped for! 💗

Thanks much, Kat! 💙 Oh, I thought that everyone enjoyed the first book. I have yet to read it, so let's see how it goes. :)
Ummm, a sensible preggo can and will drink a glass of champagne. I ran outside and on a treadmill until the day I delivered my baby.
Pregnancy is not a disability. Pregnant people can still do the things.

Sheesh! Thanks for outing the spoiler without any regard for others who might not have read the book!
A pregnant woman can drink a champagne. A sensible one will not.
I know it's not a disability.*eye roll* I've been pregnant twice and have done plenty of "the things" right till the day I delivered.
