i actually enjoyed to first book! i didn’t love it, but i was excited for the rest of the trilogy because i could see the potential it had…💀 safe to say i was sorely misled.

there is literally ZERO grovelling 😭😭😭 this man locks her in a cage, sends her away so he can marry OW so he can become the Pakhan and forces her to do anal against her wishes, while she sobbing telling him no and to stop🤡 it was just a mess.

Carter Mahoney drop 🥹🥹 it's sending me over the edge how much everyone hated on Sasha in the previous books and look where y'all are now sjsjsjsjsj

thank you, Jamie!!<3 yesss agree so much! i think an author can make weird things like that work if they set up the humour well, but Kirill never had that type of humour so it was jarring to read. and him low-key disliking his own kid out of jealousy was so unfunny— RK has done it with another hero before and it worked in a lighthearted way, but definitely not here 🙄

I NEED NIKOBRAN SO BAD😭😭😭😭 she can’t fuck theme up, i won’t be able to take it. i hate to say it but i have low-key lost hope for Damien because RK wrote him so weirdly in this trilogy, i can’t. i said to my friend he’s like a small child with the attention span of a squirrel… she made him WEIRD💀

in full transparency, mei recommended his name when i asked the rats for funny psycho heroes😭 but it’s truly wild the role reversals within this series, i used to be Sasha’s biggest hater now i just pity the poor girl 🥲

it was seriously SO gross, like the way it was written made me shudder because Sasha says no, is crying and is in pain “until it eventually gives way to pleasure”🤢🙄 at that point though, all i could do was shake my head and move on because it wasn’t the worst shit ive read by her. fr i don’t recommend this series at all😭 it could have been amazing but instead we got this :/

you’re so right! ive read multiple instances of her sexualising painful and weird situations like this before (Cruel Kimg, Empire of Lust, God of Malice…) and it is just so weird to me😭 it really takes me out of the moment, i even liked Empire of Lust a lot but those types of scenes really dull my enjoyment :/

i dnfed Aiden’s book thankfully, him and Elsa were both too insufferable for me🥸
