Despite our differing opinions, I'm glad you find this funny!
lmaoooo, this is definitely the first negative review I have seen of this book. When I first saw a reel, I also guessed it was off campus book and then it reveals to be something else.

Interesting. I saw a good amount of negative reviews before reading it, but it is true that the feedback has been really positive. And yeah, I definitely understand your confusion.
I was considering buying this yesterday because I saw it in my local bookstore and now I’m not so sure. You’ve kinda scared me😅😅

If you really want to read it, don't let me scare you off, you might like it better than I did! But my opinion is that it isn't worth it.
i have moods where I'm really in mood for a trashy romance book where there is no other plot, so i was saving it for that. i suppose not cuz i didn't like. off campus that much. BYE✌️

Well this is definitely trashy. So if you are in that mood, it is enjoyable in that way. But yeah, if you didn't like the off campus series, it is unlikely you will like this.
also the horrible "muslim" representation tho??? authors please, I would much rather read about basic white characters than read about characters with so-called representation that have no research gone into them.

I think the author discreetly changed it after the backlash. Because I had heard about that after I read the book, I think the characters name was Sabrina, but in the version I read, the best friend's name was Lola. Like they didn't even have the decency to issue a public apology.
Also completely agree, I will never ask for Muslim representation, especially from non-muslims. Seeing accurate representation is the exception, not the rule. At some point I just came to the realization and accepted the fact that these characters aren't being written for us.
Ohhh I did not know about that. Oh my god, the audacity. Just CHANGING it without even acknowledging what you've done?? That's upsetting...
Definitely. If you're gonna do it, do it right. And yeah, they're absolutely not being written for us, it's just so that they can have the label of being a "diverse book" while not even having the bare minimum.

Yes, my thoughts exactly. It's so disingenuous. And I'm not saying there hasn't ever been good rep, there is, but I don't care to be represented if it is to fit an agenda or a quota.
