I have binge read the book and completed it today. Excellent story and happy that justice finally prevails. I hope to read more Renée Ballard books and hope they come soon. 5 Stars!!!

Looking forward to reading this. I have yet to read a Michael Connelly book that I did not enjoy. Love Bosch! Connelly is so great at character development. It's easy to believe these people exist and the stories are real.

Love the book, but stop calling a pistol magazine a "Clip." It drives some of us in red states that actually shoot handguns crazy. M-1 WW2 rifles have clips. The rest of them use magazines, detachable or not. I suspect you have never shot a gun. If Bosch was a real cop he would never call it a "clip." Except for that annoying point, I loved the book, as I have all your books. Read them all.
And Italy too! Always a MC fan, I met him in NYC Central Park, 11 years ago :-) and we took a picture together. My bookseller went crazy, here.
Is there going to be another book club? I enjoyed the heck out of the one last year.
