Your review, as always, is amazing. I’ve heard that Will Smith’s version is anything but legendary, so will give that a miss!"
Thank you, Kevin. Goddam Will Smith, who does he think he is? 😉
I've always thought the idea of "the last (wo)man on earth" a little odd. Intriguing, but also impossible. You'd never be certain. Well, not until a Vogon Constructor Fleet, hanging in the sky in exactly the same way that bricks don't, turned up, and even then... it's not necessarily clearcut. Unlike your review, which is clearly and predictably excellent and fun.

Ha, Thank you, Mrs! Seen any of them films? Some of them are often on UK TV (though I suppose you avoid them like the plague 🤣 )
I don't think I've seen any of the four adaptations you list, but I've seen quite a few end of the world / last man films. (Just don't ask me to list them.) Does Planet of the Apes count?
;)

I agree with you, 'the Price is always right!' : )"
Thank you so much, Kimber 😊 Somebody uploaded the movie (in high res) to Youtube. I won't put a link here cos it's not legit, but you can search for "The Last Man on Earth 1964" and it should still be there.
