I already read Anne of Green Gables...
R. E., I've already read it too (and greatly liked it). BTW, any time the group happens to vote for a book you've already read, you don't have to reread it unless you want to; but if you remember it well enough, you're welcome to join in the discussion, whether you reread it or not. (I've done that myself on several occasions, in various groups.)
Russell, our polls aren't set up to allow for write-ins; sorry! You have to get your suggestion(s) in before the poll goes up, on this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... . Also, since we're a group primarily focused on the classics, all of our common reads are of classics. Since Manhattan Beach isn't officially published yet, it would be hard to argue for granting it classical status. :-)
