Agree with everything, as I listened to the audiobook too, except the part about everything else being great but the end. Everything was boring and only okay, and it is difficult to overstate how bad the end was.
Haha, yeah. I edited my review because I actually didn't mean to say that the greatness couldn't be overstated, only the terribleness of the end. Her descriptions were remarkably vivid, and I found myself rooting for Theo even though he sucks, and I was enjoying the depressing nihilistic modern Camus-Dostoyevsky-ish thing (until she started EXPLAINING IT TO ME, WTF), so she gets writing points for all of that. But I agree, a lot of the time I was like "where is this going? anywhere? anywhere at all?"
