I LOVED this story. I am hoping that there will be a sequel because I must know what happens next!
Catalina,
Thanks for the comments and the kind words. I genuinely enjoyed writing the book. It was sort of an experiment, publishing on Kindle Direct after 17 books with traditional publishers. But I have to say it has been a great experience, and yes, I am plugging away at the sequel now. So we'll see what sort of trouble Thorgrim, Harald, et al will get into next. Should be available in about six months.
Thanks James- I am looking forward to reading it! I Love being able to hear back from authors on goodreads...it has happened several times and it adds a new level of appreciation for me for what you do. Thank you for being in touch with your reading fans.
I too am hoping for a fourth book!! Throughly enjoyed all three thus far but would love to continue this excellent adventure. (maybe Harald can finally find himself an Irish woman who doesn't end up disappearing on him!?!). Loved every book..had me reaching for my book in the middle of the nights..and got me through another rough time spent in the hospital *again* (I am a longtime cancer fighter/survivor) and still managed to "disappear" into your books and forget my own worries..
Thank you so much!
Cindy, thanks so much for the kind words! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the books and if they helped at all during so difficult a time than I am doubly pleased. There will indeed be another book, Glendalough Fair, which will be launched on January 2. Hi James - I agree with your review of Fin Gall :-) I started a discussion on the book, so if you have any thoughts yourself on the topic I'd love to hear your opinion as author. Thanks!
Brian,
Thanks for the comments and thanks for starting the discussion. I'll be curious to see what people think and will jump in where I think it would be appropriate.
Best,
Jim
Great story! I just started it yesterday and finished it minutes ago. I simply could NOT put it down! I can't wait to read the next in line!
Hey, thanks for the kind words! Very pleased you enjoyed the book. A review on Amazon is always welcome as well.
Working on #5 right now, tentatively titled Night Wolf.

Just came across the Audible version of this today. I live in Fingal which is actually in Dublin (Dubh Linn) and was looking for something to read/Listen to after watching the Vikings TV series and naturally the title of this one jumped out at me. I'm just a few chapters in but am Loving it so far. Well Done Sir
I love Irish lit and historical fiction is a favorite. Thanks for a great story and telling us a bit of Ireland's history at the same time. On to the next in the series.
I am half Irish and love stories of historical fiction of Ireland, but this is first I've read of Norse history in Ireland from the Norse point of view. Enjoyed a lot and have the next two books.
