Thanks for adding me as a friend.
Hi Mr. Gaiman..
Your books are fabulous!!!
Any plan to come and visit Indonesia for book signing?*wishing to the fullest* ;D
cheers!
Hello! Thank you so much for participating with all of us readers and dreamers and magic bean buyers.
Thank you so much for adding me!
Hope you come to the Old Pueblo one of these days! We will be looking for you.
Love your stories so very much, and also your poem in The Green Man.
Oh wow. Hi! OMG this is so cool! XD I luv your book Coraline; it is one of the best books i have ever read, and that is saying a lot because i read a LOT! I'm Brigid. I'm fifteen. I read a ton and i'm also a writer. i've written two books (neither are published, but i'm trying...) wow, if u would even just GLANCE at the writing on my profile that would mean so much to me... even if u just read one sentence and then left a comment that was like 'this sucks!' i wouldn't even care... just so i could be like 'OMG! Neil Gaiman read my story!' XD okay, i know i'm just being annoying now so i'll go away...
Hello Mr. Gaiman,
Thanks for adding me. I just wanted to tell you that I’m having a blast reading your children’s books to my 7-year-old son; he really loves them. He even wants me to read aloud one of your short stories at his "Monster Sleepover Party."
Take care,
Vivian
You rock, Neil. I read Coraline to a classroom of K-3 kids and scared the hell outa them, much to their delight and their parents' horror. Glad to have you as a neighbor, in a manner of speaking. You are an amazing writer... I also loved Mirrormask.
Thanks for the add Neil. I've always been amazed at the imagination and creativity shown in your works. I hope to read more stuff from you in the future.
Hi, Neil. Thanks for adding me. I'm very much looking forward to The Graveyard Book. Thank you for all the great stories, past and future. ~ Jess from NY
Hello there and pleased to meetcha; I admire your work very much indeed. The Sue Hubbell collection looks interesting-- might have to check that out next. Good wishes. :)
Hi Neil! Thanks for the add! I really Love your writing! I'm in the middle of re-reading American Gods, so I can Finally read Anansi Boys, which I've been looking forward to for a while! Keep those creative juices flowing (and don't pull a Jordan)!
Hello Neil! I finished The Graveyard Book today! I loved it! I won a free advance reader's edition of it from a contest online.
Thank you for the add. I just started reading Neverwhere again, it disappeared, perhaps to Baltimore below for a while.
Hello Neil! Thanks for adding me.
Maybe you don't remember me, but last year September when you visited to Tokyo for signing, I was there.
Anyway, I'm waiting for Japanese edition AMERICAN GODS. I'm looking forward to reading it.
Thanks for adding me! I have a friend who told me she rings up your groceries every month. She says you're very nice and that she enjoys talking to you.
I finally finished the entire Sandman series a month or two ago and have to say that it's the best thing I've ever read. The first five or six TPB volumes were just very good, but starting with the seventh it just started getting ridiculously better and better. I'd think it couldn't get any better and then it did. The tenth volume was a bit of a drop off, but that's just because of its place in the story arc.
My least favorite was probably volume six because it read like "Sandman's adventures in history" and got a little boring. The stories in it probably work better in the actual issue order so they're between other issues and not all at once. But I did love the last story in volume six and didn't mind reading it where it was. That and Ramadan are my favorite two in that volume.
Thanks for the add! I love Sandman and American Gods, and read the first volume of your Eternals run the other day. Incredibly cool, heavy stuff.
Hi Neil! Thanks for adding me.
I really like your work, but I would like to mention FRAGILE THINGS.
Everything in this book is special; "October in the chair" is perfect but I must confess that it is "Other People" the best short story that I've ever read in my life.
I'm looking forward to see Coralina in 3D too.
Please, keep doing this fantastic work for us :)
Thanks very much for the add! It's great to find you on Goodreads, and I'm very excited to see what books you might recommmend reading.
Hello Neil,
Thank you for accepting my friend invitation!
I'm still fairly new to your writing, having only read 'Anansi Boys' and 'American Gods', but your wonderfully unique style has already turned me into a fan. :D Can't wait to read your other novels, as well as the Sandman comics.
Cheers,
Noor
Thank you for accepting my friend invitation. I love just about everything you write--but my favorite has always been "American Gods".
Hi Neil, thanks for the add a while back. I just started re-reading the Sandman comics for the third or fourth time, after getting them all back from a friend I loaned them to. So it seemed like a good time to say thank you for telling us all these wonderful stories, your writing is genius. And I love getting to see what my favorite author is currently reading (that would be you). Take care, sweet dreams.
Hey Neil!
I absolutely loved Neverwhere and Coraline! Also, your collection of short stories, Smoke and Mirrors, was a great read, lots of thoughtful tidbits in there.
Thanks for adding me!
Thanks so much for the add, Neil!! I love your works and my favorites are Coraline, Stardust, The Wolves in the Walls and Fragile Things. I'm really looking forward to the Graveyard Book and The Blueberry Girl.
Btw, your quotes are the very best anywhere, such magic and truth about them. Happy writing and reading, Neil! :)
Your books were some of the first I read when I started branching out from my traditional upbringing. Thanks for being a fantastic writer (and also for the introduction to Terry Pratchett via Good Omens. I am eternally grateful for that one.)
Thanks for the add!
"Death: the high cost of living" is one of the best things I've ever read. If you could have a penny for every minute of happiness given to people, you'd be richer than Bill Gates.
Thanks for the add Neil! Ever speak to Sam Keith anymore? You two should get together and do another project. :D
Thanks for adding me!
American Gods and Sandman are in my all time favourites (I'm finishing Kindly Ones)
I write.
Someday, I hope to write as well as you--in my own voice of course, but with the same kind of strength and poetry and healthy irreverence.
Thanks for being an inspiration.
NOt sure if this is the right place to put this, but I just accidentally deleted two people I meant to accept as friends -- so if you've sent me a friend application and haven't heard anything back, please send it again...
Neil (in Turpan today)
Thank you for the friendship.
I've been a fan since the first issue of Sandman hit the comic shelf.
Now my son is reading "Interworld," so you have another fan.
Thanks for adding me as a friend, Neil. Even though i first heard about Sandman during the 1990s, i only started reading it in March this year (2008). (professional procrastinator). I have missed out on SO MUCH. Wow, can't wait to read more. Thankyou for writing such an interesting and delicious character!
I then went crazy finding books and stuff by "Neil Gaiman" and I really love "Mirrormask". Is that available as a text somewhere, or just on dvd. It's bloody fantastic. I now have "the wolves in the walls" "Preludes and Nocturnes" "The Witch's Headstone" in Dann & Dozois' Dark Alchemy, "Stardust" and "Coraline." Don't know where to start first. Happy as a pig in (slops)!
:) Julie
Thank you for friending me back.
Reading books recommended by a fav author has to be a great way of finding new books to love :)
I've just read the comments.. thank you all, so much.
And you know about the free Neverwhere for 30 days, don't you?

for details.
Hi Neil...
I just wanted to say you're a great author, and Stardust is my favorite book ever.
Do you ever think you're going to make the first book "wall"? I read some of it in the back of Stardust, and I was hooked!
Thanks for the add!
Dorian
Thank you for adding me as a friend, and I just wanted to say that my favorite book of yours is Anansi Boys. I loved it. Looking forward to your future stories.
Nancy
Hi Neil! Thanks for the add btw, I'm wondering, would you know when the Graveyard Book will be released in the Philippines? Also, will you be here for the
The 3rd Philippine Graphic Fiction Awards ? Thanks!
Hello and thank you for the add. Can't wait for The Graveyard Book!
American Gods is one of my all time favourite books, any chance of a movie ever being made from it?
