Feliks Anything by Tod Browning is bound to be visually interesting no matter how unconventional the narrative structure feels, today. I'd watch anything from him over anyone making movies nowadays. Any frame of a Browning film is liable to contain hidden gold.

Peter Frankenstein is very good, but I admit I'm partial to The Wolf Man. Lon Chaney, Jr. has genuine charm, and Claude Rains, as usual, turns a supporting role into something really special.
