In real life there may not be happy ending but I believe that every person can spin and their own fairy tale if only they try. I think Veronica did not narrate well. The sacrifice did mean very little. Perhaps dumb. Even the plot was not as stellar as her previous books. Its like she wrote without making the slightest effort.
