you may be overestimating the influence genetics has on flair and style. I wouldn't be surprised if she's from a wellbred family but i doubt it's the lockless. She wouldn't have spent so much time near her hometown where she would have been spotted.

He describes her as having curled chestnut hair, while Denna has curled blond hair. He describes both women as having full red lips without the benefit of paint. It is Denna he sees in Meluan. Denna isn't blond, she has dark hair. I think the person she reminds him off is his mother. It was mentioned that she came from a noble house and that his father had courted her with his charisma and songs. It was also mentioned that Meluan became heir because her sister took off with a Edema Ruh man; that would probably be Kvothes father.
