Cecilyn P. I like the way you worded that. And I agree.

Brenda M. It's like comparing apples and oranges. they are both good. It just depends on what you're in the mood for.I like them both but for different reasons. I like King for the spookie stuff and Patterson for a darn good read.

Sandysbookaday (taking a step back for a while) Stacey, I totally agree with you. I enjoyed the earlier James PAttersons, but since he has started cowriting. I love Stephen Kings warped mind......the way he turns ordinary things into scary situations.

Mariana As far as I know james Patterson has 95 novels published, but most of them were written by ghostwriters. He said himself in interviews once he has more than one ghostwritter. He create the ideas, but he is not actually writing those novels...Stephen King criticized him once. However we can not deny his success as he is making about $80 million a year....

Rag Mars What an utter Nonsense! Who cares who is better? There is only ONE point: why should I invest most precious Lifetime in even looking into it - Spending money on it? What is MY benefit????When I buy and eat a Big mac or similar – I am certain, my Investment will last for 2 or 3 years as that formidable stuff sticks to me forever…. When I buy and read any Author – how long will that Investment last? Ok, when I forced myself masochistically to read Pet Cemetery to the very last letter – I still feel bad about that stuff 15 years later. Fortunately the book cost nothing - a Lifelong allergy…so it worked…
