You certainly summed it up Claire...it's an easy read...but I can definitely see what you mean by "read it slow and let it sink in"...thanks so much for responding :)
After reading it again and thinking about it for a while, I realized that I don't love Book Thief as much as I had the first time I read it, (my review explains why in better detail), but I don't regret reading it. I liked it, and I'm glad I could help, and that you're enjoying it. :)
