I agree with you about the shoe box. It was unbeliable.But as you I liked the book,expecially the epilouge.
I read this book when it first came out but, on reflection, I realized I've completely forgotten what it was about. Even after reading many of the comments posted here my mind is a blank. Either this book wasn't that interesting or I'm developing early-onset-dementia. I have now read four more books by this author and definitely liked Big Little Lies the most followed closely by The Last Anniversary. Three Wishes was a disappointment in comparison.
