yes that's kind of my feelings, its understandable why they cant be in a relationship but don't see why it had to be so extreme as to never seeing each-other again.
In my opinion, he should not have completely dropped out, I mean he was a huge part f the series and Katniss' best friend all her life. I understand that she didn't have a choice but to be with Peeta, but Gale was so important to her and they should have continued to be friends all their life, even if the Capitol was against it. We all know they both still care about eachother a lot and we all know that neither of tem really give a crap what the capitol has to say about any of it, so why would he just drop out? I don't really understand or think that it's very fair at all, but it is what it is I guess.
