Kressel Housman That's a rather offensive thing to say. What's so terrible about her suggestion?

Mark The suggestion that a teenage victim of the holocaust should have marketed her book better does not offend you in any way???
The content of the book is what it is about and now we get some git that wonders about something so shallow that she seems to ignore the message.
What is next?- The surprise that Anne Franks diary is based upon true events?

Kressel Housman Well, the post was written in the subjunctive "would have wanted" so I think the poster understood that Anne was dead and had no choice in the matter.

Mark Dear Kressel I fear she just doesn't understand Anne Franks book and the history of teh girl If she makes such a callous remark about the title.

Otto Frank did publish his dead daughters diary to share with the world the horror of WOII, I doubt he did expect the succes it would become or that he expected how famous his daughters fate would become. To suggest that it could be better marketed shows that the original reader missed the point totaly. imho.

Paganalexandria Mark, I totally agree. They always say there are no dumb questions, well I beg to differ.
