I just didn't sympathize all that much with her either. In a way I felt sorry for David but when I finished the book I was so angry with him for not telling the truth. Its a fitting end for him though.
Hi kirk, I thought your comment was interesting g because I am interested in men's points of view. I thought Caroline was a hero for saving phoebe from a terrib,e fate. And I thought David was a coward for putting his own feelings before his wife's. I haven't finished the book yet, so maybe I'll change my mind. Or maybe you read it too long ago to remember it, haha. June
